Never A Time
The faithfulness of the Lord is yours
To look back on today.
And as you reflect upon it,
Your faith will be able to say ~
There was never a time God faltered,
Never a time He wasn't good,
There was never a time when He failed
To be all that He said He would.
There was never a time He wasn't there,
Never a time He was untrue.
Never a time when You called to Him,
That He didn't come to you.
There was never a time He was unwise,
Never a time He didn't guide.
Never a time when you had a need,
That He did not provide.
There was never a time without mercy,
Never a time without His grace.
Never a time there was a sin
That His blood couldn't erease.
There was never a time He was unfaithful,
Never a time He was unkind.
Never a time when you sought for Him
That you were unable to find.
There was never a time He turned away,
Never a time He withdrew.
Never a time when His Father's heart
Was not taking care of you.
There was never a time He couldn't defend,
Never a time He was weak.
Never a time when you faced a foe
That He could not defeat.
There was never a time He wasn't a friend,
Never a time He didn't bless.
Never a time when He didn't give
His highest and very best.
And as you look to the future years,
Or wonder what you'll go through,
Remember that the God of your yesterdays,
Will be the God of your tomorrows too.
